Welcome to our first meeting of 2025 at the Nanaimo Curling Club on Wednesday, January 15.at 1:30 and 6:30 pm (doors open at 1:00 and 6:00 pm) There will be a display from the Fibre Art Network.
If your last name starts with the letters E, F, G and H, it’s your turn to bring goodies to the meeting for our coffee / tea break. Consider bringing a treat that was popular in the 1980s, as we continue to celebrate our 40th anniversary! And you can still sign up for our January 25 Quilt Bee at Oliver Woods. More information in our January newsletter.
The library will be open, so please remember to return your library books. Also bring your completed Block(s) of the Month, donation quilts, placemats, Show and Share creations, your coffee cup, change for raffles, and any Country Grocer receipts (if you collect them). See below
As a nonprofit society, we can earn 1% on every $1000 in tapes that we save, in the form of gift cards that do not expire (This will help us buy supplies for our next Quilt Show).
The tapes can be from any Country Grocer location, for anything in the store, and for any amount. Please fold (don’t roll) the tapes and place in an envelope to prevent fading. There will be a box available at our meetings to drop off your tapes.
