Our year end picnic will be held Wednesday, June 12 at the lower picnic shelter in Bowen Park (across from Nanaimo Curling Club parking lot).
Please bring an item for the pot luck meal, dishes, mug, cutlery, a plastic bag for your dirty dishes, and a lawn chair if you wish. A green bin for organics will be provided.
Hot tea, lemonade and iced tea will be provided, otherwise bring your own beverage. Arrive after 4 pm and we will be done by 7 pm. Supper will be at 5 pm.
We will have Show and Share, but no raffles. Bring extra layers to keep warm. Come enjoy the good weather, good food, and good company!!
Please remember to bring back your library books. The books you sign out at the upcoming meeting are yours until September.
Bring change for raffles, and any Country Grocer receipts (if you collect them). See below
As a nonprofit society, we can earn 1% on every $1000 in tapes that we save, in the form of gift cards that do not expire (This will help us buy supplies for our next Quilt Show).
The tapes can be from any Country Grocer location, for anything in the store, and for any amount. Please fold (don’t roll) the tapes and place in an envelope to prevent fading. There will be a box available at our meetings to drop off your tapes.
