Our next meeting is on Wednesday, March 19 at the Nanaimo Curling Club at 1:30 and 6:30 pm (doors open at 1:00 and 6:00 pm)
Stacie Wilson from Troll Brothers in Shawnigan Lake will present ideas for new projects at our March meeting and will have a pop-up shop. If you would like to buy items from her website, order online at https://trollbrothersquiltdesigns.com/ Choose the “Pick Up” option and clearly state in the message box that the delivery is to the NQG on March 19.

Val Ursulak reminds you to please bring your small quilts (no larger than 30”x 30”), minis, wall-hangings, former challenges etc. to the MARCH MEETING.  We would like to decorate the hall with them for our Anniversary Tea at the April meeting.  Hanging sleeves are not necessary but be sure to have your name on the back.  Vintage quilts (any size) are also welcome.
If your last name starts with the letters M, N, or O, it’s your turn to bring goodies to the meeting for our coffee / tea break. Consider bringing a treat that was popular in the 1980s, as we continue to celebrate our 40th anniversary!

There is a new Block of the Month in the newsletter.  The library will be open, so please remember to return your library books. Bring your completed Block of the Month, donation quilts, placemats, Show and Share creations, your coffee cup, change for raffles, items for the free table, and any Country Grocer receipts (if you collect them). See below

As a nonprofit society, we can earn 1% on every $1000 in tapes that we save, in the form of gift cards that do not expire (This will help us buy supplies for our next Quilt Show).

The tapes can be from any Country Grocer location, for anything in the store, and for any amount. Please fold (don’t roll) the tapes and place in an envelope to prevent fading.  There will be  a box available at our meetings to drop off your tapes.
